Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in City of Onkaparinga in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Community and Personal Service Workers (8,899 females or 21.9%)
  • Professionals (8,804 females or 21.7%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (8,560 females or 21.1%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 26,263 females in total or 64.6% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Greater Adelaide employed 18.7% in Community and Personal Service Workers; 27.4% in Professionals; and 19.8% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
