Dominant groups

Analysis of household income levels in the Hills North District in 2021 compared to the City of Onkaparinga shows that there was a larger proportion of high income households (those earning $3,000 per week or more) and a lower proportion of low income households (those earning less than $800 per week).

Overall, 28.3% of the households earned a high income and 14.3% were low income households, compared with 13.1% and 25.1% respectively for the City of Onkaparinga.

The major differences between the household incomes of the Hills North District and the City of Onkaparinga were:

  • A larger percentage of households who earned $3,000 - $3,499 (9.2% compared to 5.2%)
