Dominant groups
Analysis of the highest level of schooling attained by the female population in the Central North District in 2021 compared to Greater Adelaide shows that there was a higher proportion of females who had left school at an early level (Year 10 or less) and a lower proportion of females who completed Year 12 or equivalent.
Overall, 29.0% of the female population left school at Year 10 or below, and 46.6% went on to complete Year 12 or equivalent, compared with 23.2% and 57.9% respectively for Greater Adelaide.
The major differences between the level of schooling attained by the female population in the Central North District and Greater Adelaide were:
- A larger percentage of females who completed year 10 or equivalent (18.9% compared to 13.3%)
