Dominant groups

Analysis of the qualifications of the female population in the City of Onkaparinga in 2021 compared to Greater Adelaide shows that there was a lower proportion of females holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a higher proportion of females with no formal qualifications.

Overall, 51.4% of the female population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 41.7% had no qualifications, compared with 53.5% and 40.1% respectively for Greater Adelaide.

The major differences between qualifications held by the female population of the City of Onkaparinga and Greater Adelaide were:
