Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Happy Valley in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (712 females or 24.9%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (671 females or 23.5%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (548 females or 19.2%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,931 females in total or 67.6% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Onkaparinga employed 21.7% in Professionals; 21.1% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 21.9% in Community and Personal Service Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Happy Valley and the City of Onkaparinga were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed as Professionals (24.9% compared to 21.7%)
