Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Northern District in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (2,933 females or 28.3%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (2,307 females or 22.3%)
- Community and Personal Service Workers (1,920 females or 18.5%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 7,160 females in total or 69.1% of the employed female resident population.
In comparison, Reynella East employed 22.4% in Professionals; 20.3% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 22.6% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of the Northern District and Reynella East were:
- A larger percentage of females employed as Professionals (28.3% compared to 22.4%)
- A larger percentage of females employed as Clerical and Administrative Workers (22.3% compared to 20.3%)
