Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Central North District in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Community and Personal Service Workers (4,022 females or 24.3%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (3,435 females or 20.8%)
- Professionals (2,881 females or 17.4%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 10,338 females in total or 62.5% of the employed female resident population.
In comparison, Old Noarlunga employed 23.4% in Community and Personal Service Workers; 16.6% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 18.9% in Professionals.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of the Central North District and Old Noarlunga were:
- A larger percentage of females employed as Clerical and Administrative Workers (20.8% compared to 16.6%)
- A smaller percentage of females employed as Managers (7.3% compared to 9.8%)
- A smaller percentage of females employed as Professionals (17.4% compared to 18.9%)
- A smaller percentage of females employed as Technicians and Trades Workers (5.4% compared to 6.8%)

The largest changes in the occupations of female residents between 2016 and 2021 in the Central North District were for those employed as:
