Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Coromandel Valley in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (233 females or 28.0%)
  • Education and Training (144 females or 17.3%)
  • Public Administration and Safety (73 females or 8.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 450 females in total or 54.1% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Morphett Vale (East) employed 30.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.2% in Education and Training; and 5.9% in Public Administration and Safety.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Coromandel Valley and Morphett Vale (East) were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in education and training (17.3% compared to 9.2%)
  • A larger percentage of females employed in professional, scientific and technical services (6.6% compared to 3.5%)
