Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Central South District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (1,366 males or 21.6%)
  • Manufacturing (603 males or 9.5%)
  • Retail Trade (593 males or 9.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,562 males in total or 40.4% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Onkaparinga employed 19.1% in Construction; 10.4% in Manufacturing; and 9.4% in Retail Trade.

The major difference between the jobs held by the male population of the Central South District and the City of Onkaparinga was:
