Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Moana in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (197 males or 23.9%)
  • Manufacturing (81 males or 9.8%)
  • Retail Trade (67 males or 8.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 345 males in total or 41.9% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Onkaparinga employed 19.1% in Construction; 10.4% in Manufacturing; and 9.4% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Moana and the City of Onkaparinga were:
