Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Hackham in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (303 females or 32.9%)
  • Retail Trade (155 females or 16.8%)
  • Education and Training (73 females or 7.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 531 females in total or 57.7% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Onkaparinga employed 29.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.6% in Retail Trade; and 12.1% in Education and Training.
