Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Hackham in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (181 males or 19.0%)
  • Manufacturing (115 males or 12.1%)
  • Retail Trade (92 males or 9.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 388 males in total or 40.7% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Coromandel East - Cherry Gardens - Chandlers Hill - Ironbank employed 21.4% in Construction; 6.6% in Manufacturing; and 6.6% in Retail Trade.
