Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Reynella in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (356 females or 32.0%)
  • Retail Trade (153 females or 13.7%)
  • Education and Training (113 females or 10.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 622 females in total or 55.9% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Aberfoyle Park employed 30.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.1% in Retail Trade; and 15.1% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Reynella and Aberfoyle Park were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in administrative and support services (6.4% compared to 3.0%)
