Dominant groups
Analysis of the male five year age groups of McLaren Vale in 2021 compared to Coromandel East - Cherry Gardens - Chandlers Hill - Ironbank shows that there was a lower proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a higher proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).
Overall, 14.1% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 30.3% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 17.7% and 20.8% respectively for Coromandel East - Cherry Gardens - Chandlers Hill - Ironbank.
