The size of Morphett Vale (East)'s male labour force in 2021 was 3,396, of which 784 were employed part-time and 2,203 were full time workers.
Analysis of the male employment status (as a percentage of the labour force) in Morphett Vale (East) in 2021 compared to the City of Onkaparinga shows that there was a lower proportion in employment, and a higher proportion unemployed. Overall, 92.9% of the male labour force was employed, and 7.1% unemployed, compared with 93.6% and 6.4% respectively for the City of Onkaparinga.
