The major differences in the age groups reporting a need for assistance in the Central South District and the Hills North District were:
- A larger percentage of persons aged 85 and over (36.3% compared to 27.1%)
- A larger percentage of persons aged 75 to 79 (15.6% compared to 10.3%)
- A larger percentage of persons aged 70 to 74 (10.7% compared to 5.8%)
- A larger percentage of persons aged 80 to 84 (20.5% compared to 16.0%)
