Analysis of the household/family types in Gosford City in 2021 compared to Central Coast Council area shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 27.7% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 11.3% were one-parent families, compared with 27.1% and 12.8% respectively for Central Coast Council area.
There were a similar proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children.
