Location and boundaries

Blue Haven is bounded by Doyalson Link Road in the north, the Pacific Highway in the east, Wallarah Creek in the south, and Spring Creek in the west.

Settlement history

Settlement of the area dates from the late 1800s, although population was minimal until the 1970s. Rapid growth took place from the early 1990s, with the population increasing five-fold between 1991 and 2006 as large numbers of new dwellings were added to the area and dwelling occupancy rates increased. Population growth slowed considerably between 2006 and 2011 as fewer new dwellings were constructed.

Blue Haven is a relatively recent residential area.
