Dominant groups

Analysis of the qualifications of the female population in Rockhampton in 2021 compared to Rockhampton City and Depot Hill shows that there was a higher proportion of females holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a lower proportion of females with no formal qualifications.

Overall, 44.0% of the female population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 46.2% had no qualifications, compared with 37.9% and 48.7% respectively for Rockhampton City and Depot Hill.

The major differences between qualifications held by the female population of Rockhampton and Rockhampton City and Depot Hill were:
