Dominant groups
In 2021, there were 215 females who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in Gosford Central, compared with 2,129 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).
Analysis of the method of travel to work of the female residents in Gosford Central in 2021, compared to Narara - Niagara Park, shows that 4.4% used public transport, while 43.0% used a private vehicle, compared with 2.2% and 48.4% respectively in Narara - Niagara Park.
The major differences in females between the method of travel to work of Gosford Central and Narara - Niagara Park were:
- A larger percentage of females who worked at home (30.3% compared to 27.8%)
- A larger percentage of females who walked only (2.7% compared to 0.7%)
- A smaller percentage of females who travelled by car (as driver) (39.2% compared to 44.4%)
