Dominant groups
In 2021, there were 44 males who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in Terrigal - North Avoca, compared with 1,923 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).
Analysis of the method of travel to work of the male residents in Terrigal - North Avoca in 2021, compared to Lake Munmorah - Chain Valley Bay, shows that 1.2% used public transport, while 50.9% used a private vehicle, compared with 0.9% and 66.9% respectively in Lake Munmorah - Chain Valley Bay.
The major differences in males between the method of travel to work of Terrigal - North Avoca and Lake Munmorah - Chain Valley Bay were:
- A larger percentage of males who worked at home (31.7% compared to 12.0%)
