Analysis of the qualifications of the male population in the Gosford Central District in 2021 compared to the Mountains District shows that there was a higher proportion of males holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a lower proportion of males with no formal qualifications.
Overall, 56.7% of the male population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 33.8% had no qualifications, compared with 52.4% and 35.2% respectively for the Mountains District.
The major differences between qualifications held by the male population of the Gosford Central District and the Mountains District were:
