Dominant groups

Analysis of the qualifications of the male population in West Brisbane Water and Peninsula in 2021 compared to the East Brisbane Water District shows that there was a lower proportion of males holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a higher proportion of males with no formal qualifications.

Overall, 53.7% of the male population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 37.9% had no qualifications, compared with 60.1% and 33.2% respectively for the East Brisbane Water District.
