Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in East Brisbane Water and Coastal in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (8,488 people or 27.0%)
  • Managers (4,843 people or 15.4%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (4,189 people or 13.3%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 17,520 people in total or 55.7% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Kanwal - Wyongah employed 14.3% in Professionals; 8.7% in Managers; and 15.2% in Technicians and Trades Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of East Brisbane Water and Coastal and Kanwal - Wyongah were:
