Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Northern Lakes District in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (1,199 people or 17.9%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (954 people or 14.3%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (863 people or 12.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 3,016 people in total or 45.1% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Yattalunga - Saratoga - Davistown employed 17.3% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 11.5% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 13.3% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
