Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in The Entrance District in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (1,403 females or 24.3%)
- Community and Personal Service Workers (1,189 females or 20.6%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (1,162 females or 20.1%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 3,754 females in total or 64.9% of the employed female resident population.
In comparison, Narara Valley and Ourimbah employed 26.0% in Professionals; 16.9% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 20.5% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of the The Entrance District and Narara Valley and Ourimbah were:
- A larger percentage of females employed as Community and Personal Service Workers (20.6% compared to 16.9%)
- A smaller percentage of females employed as Professionals (24.3% compared to 26.0%)
