Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Wyong, Warnervale and Gorokan in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (3,763 people or 15.6%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (3,621 people or 15.0%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (3,535 people or 14.6%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 10,919 people in total or 45.2% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Gosford East Ward employed 26.5% in Professionals; 11.6% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 13.3% in Technicians and Trades Workers.
