Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Bateau Bay in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (1,051 people or 20.0%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (850 people or 16.2%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (716 people or 13.7%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,617 people in total or 49.9% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, the Peninsula District employed 20.0% in Professionals; 14.5% in Technicians and Trades Workers; and 13.1% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
