Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Southern Lakes and The Entrance in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (4,360 people or 18.3%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (3,841 people or 16.1%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (3,237 people or 13.6%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 11,438 people in total or 48.0% of the employed resident population.
