Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Northern Lakes, San Remo-Budgewoi and Toukley in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Community and Personal Service Workers (2,155 females or 23.0%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (1,944 females or 20.7%)
  • Professionals (1,613 females or 17.2%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 5,712 females in total or 60.8% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, the East Brisbane Water District employed 17.1% in Community and Personal Service Workers; 22.0% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 28.4% in Professionals.
