Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Wyong Shire in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (11,452 people or 16.1%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (11,240 people or 15.8%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (10,196 people or 14.3%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 32,888 people in total or 46.1% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Watanobbi employed 13.9% in Professionals; 14.5% in Technicians and Trades Workers; and 15.9% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
