Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in West Brisbane Water and Peninsula in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (2,627 males or 24.0%)
  • Professionals (1,967 males or 18.0%)
  • Managers (1,625 males or 14.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 6,219 males in total or 56.8% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Charmhaven - Lake Haven employed 24.5% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 6.2% in Professionals; and 10.5% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of West Brisbane Water and Peninsula and Charmhaven - Lake Haven were:
