Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Blue Haven in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Community and Personal Service Workers (332 females or 23.4%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (288 females or 20.3%)
- Sales Workers (250 females or 17.6%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 870 females in total or 61.4% of the employed female resident population.
In comparison, Berkeley Vale - Chittaway Bay - Glenning Valley employed 19.9% in Community and Personal Service Workers; 22.1% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 11.8% in Sales Workers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Blue Haven and Berkeley Vale - Chittaway Bay - Glenning Valley were:
- A larger percentage of females employed as Sales Workers (17.6% compared to 11.8%)
- A larger percentage of females employed as Community and Personal Service Workers (23.4% compared to 19.9%)
- A larger percentage of females employed as Labourers (9.1% compared to 6.6%)
- A smaller percentage of females employed as Professionals (12.1% compared to 22.6%)

The number of employed females in Blue Haven increased by 112 between 2016 and 2021.
There were no major differences in Blue Haven between 2016 and 2021.
