The type of work done by migrant communities is influenced by their age structure, qualifications and migration stream. An analysis of the jobs held by the Italian speaking resident population in Central Coast Council area in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
In combination these three occupations accounted for 181 people in total or 50.6% of the employed resident population.
In comparison, Greater Sydney employed 17.8% in Managers; 22.1% in Professionals; and 16.0% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
