Dominant groups
Analysis of the language used at home by the population of Wyong, Warnervale and Gorokan in 2021 compared to Lisarow - Mount Elliot shows that there was a smaller proportion of people who used English only, and a larger proportion of those using a non-English language (either exclusively, or in addition to English).
Overall, 85.6% of the population used English only, and 8.4% used a non-English language, compared with 90.9% and 7.1% respectively for Lisarow - Mount Elliot.
The dominant language used at home, other than English, in Wyong, Warnervale and Gorokan was Malayalam, with 0.7% of the population, or 411 people using this language at home.
There were no major differences between Wyong, Warnervale and Gorokan and Lisarow - Mount Elliot in 2021.
