Dominant groups
Analysis of the language used at home by the population of Wyong, Warnervale and Gorokan in 2021 compared to East Gosford - Point Frederick shows that there was a larger proportion of people who used English only, and a smaller proportion of those using a non-English language (either exclusively, or in addition to English).
Overall, 85.6% of the population used English only, and 8.4% used a non-English language, compared with 81.1% and 13.9% respectively for East Gosford - Point Frederick.
The dominant language used at home, other than English, in Wyong, Warnervale and Gorokan was Malayalam, with 0.7% of the population, or 411 people using this language at home.
