Analysis of the language used at home by the population of Southern Lakes and The Entrance in 2021 compared to Avoca Beach - Picketts Valley - Copacabana - MacMasters Beach shows that there was a smaller proportion of people who used English only, and a similar proportion of those using a non-English language (either exclusively, or in addition to English).
Overall, 89.4% of the population used English only, and 5.0% used a non-English language, compared with 92.0% and 4.8% respectively for Avoca Beach - Picketts Valley - Copacabana - MacMasters Beach.
