Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Toukley District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

- Retail Trade (164 males or 8.7%)
- Manufacturing (162 males or 8.6%)

In comparison, Central Coast Council area employed 19.9% in Construction; 8.5% in Retail Trade; and 8.4% in Manufacturing.
The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of the Toukley District and Central Coast Council area were:
