Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Tuggerah - Mardi in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Health Care and Social Assistance (361 females or 25.7%)
- Retail Trade (184 females or 13.1%)
- Education and Training (167 females or 11.9%)
In combination, these three industries employed 712 females in total or 50.7% of the total employed female resident population.
In comparison, Central Coast Council area employed 28.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.9% in Retail Trade; and 12.1% in Education and Training.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Tuggerah - Mardi and Central Coast Council area were:
- A larger percentage of females employed in manufacturing (5.6% compared to 3.4%)
