Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Erina in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Health Care and Social Assistance (246 females or 30.3%)
- Education and Training (91 females or 11.2%)
- Retail Trade (88 females or 10.9%)
In combination, these three industries employed 425 females in total or 52.4% of the total employed female resident population.
In comparison, the Northern Lakes District employed 28.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.1% in Education and Training; and 15.4% in Retail Trade.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Erina and the Northern Lakes District were:
- A larger percentage of females employed in accommodation and food services (9.6% compared to 6.8%)
- A larger percentage of females employed in health care and social assistance (30.3% compared to 28.9%)
- A larger percentage of females employed in professional, scientific and technical services (6.0% compared to 4.6%)
- A smaller percentage of females employed in retail trade (10.9% compared to 15.4%)
