Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Bateau Bay in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (631 males or 24.3%)
  • Retail Trade (224 males or 8.6%)
  • Manufacturing (198 males or 7.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,053 males in total or 40.5% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Central Coast Council area employed 19.9% in Construction; 8.5% in Retail Trade; and 8.4% in Manufacturing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Bateau Bay and Central Coast Council area were:
