Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Wyong, Warnervale and Gorokan in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (2,279 males or 18.6%)
  • Manufacturing (1,302 males or 10.6%)
  • Retail Trade (1,159 males or 9.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 4,740 males in total or 38.7% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Tuggerah - Mardi employed 17.4% in Construction; 9.6% in Manufacturing; and 8.4% in Retail Trade.
