Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Narara Valley and Ourimbah in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (1,333 males or 16.0%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (736 males or 8.8%)
  • Retail Trade (721 males or 8.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,790 males in total or 33.4% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Central Coast Council area employed 19.9% in Construction; 7.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 8.5% in Retail Trade.
