Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Gorokan District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (828 males or 20.7%)
  • Manufacturing (470 males or 11.7%)
  • Retail Trade (387 males or 9.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,685 males in total or 42.1% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Central Coast Council area employed 19.9% in Construction; 8.4% in Manufacturing; and 8.5% in Retail Trade.
