Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Gorokan in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (367 males or 22.7%)
  • Manufacturing (189 males or 11.7%)
  • Retail Trade (174 males or 10.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 730 males in total or 45.1% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Central Coast Council area employed 19.9% in Construction; 8.4% in Manufacturing; and 8.5% in Retail Trade.
