Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in The Entrance Ward in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (5,017 people or 17.1%)
  • Construction (3,836 people or 13.1%)
  • Retail Trade (2,894 people or 9.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 11,747 people in total or 40.1% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Warnervale - Wallarah - Bushells Ridge employed 16.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 14.7% in Construction; and 11.9% in Retail Trade.
