Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Narara Valley and Ourimbah in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (2,391 females or 29.2%)
  • Retail Trade (1,015 females or 12.4%)
  • Education and Training (990 females or 12.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 4,396 females in total or 53.7% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Southern Lakes and The Entrance employed 27.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.2% in Retail Trade; and 13.2% in Education and Training.
