Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Narara Valley District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (1,147 males or 16.0%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (630 males or 8.8%)
  • Manufacturing (623 males or 8.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,400 males in total or 33.5% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Mountains and Valleys employed 18.9% in Construction; 4.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 7.6% in Manufacturing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of the Narara Valley District and Mountains and Valleys were:
