Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Wyong, Warnervale and Gorokan in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (4,433 people or 18.4%)
  • Retail Trade (2,773 people or 11.5%)
  • Construction (2,615 people or 10.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 9,821 people in total or 40.7% of the total employed resident population.
