Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Ourimbah District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (189 males or 16.3%)
  • Retail Trade (105 males or 9.0%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (105 males or 9.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 399 males in total or 34.4% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, the West Brisbane Water District employed 16.8% in Construction; 9.0% in Retail Trade; and 6.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of the Ourimbah District and the West Brisbane Water District were:
